Saison Froide

French coldwave project born in 2001. Never edited an album and neither an ep. This is the exclusive demo of the band gently sent to me that I´ve decided to post here to show their geat music and help to make more people know the band. Not to miss!

The Frozen Autumn

Frozen Autumn was formed in Italy by Diego Merletto who later recruited Arianna after the release of the demo "Oblivion". Together they became one of the most well known darkwave bands, mixing dancing tunes with melancolic lyrics and gloomy synth sounds. Posting their second album, "Fragments of Memories". Very similar to Clan of Xymox, in their beginnings. Enjoy.:)

Guerre Froide

Cult cold/minimal wave band from France. Formed in 1980, they split in 1982 after only released two albums, one being a live record and a ep. Reformed in 2006 and made a great come back releasing a new album called Angoisses et Divertissement in2007. Decided to post the legendary and rare live album "Archives" from 1985, a personal favourite of mine that includes the hit "Demain Berlin" and the fabulous "Remorquage".

The Vyllies

From Switzerland, The Vyllies were one of the most tragically overlooked new-wave bands. Simply put, the Vyllies had an uncanny ability to produce intoxicating medieval atmospheres with the most humble means available. Sung by the lovely voice of Ursula Nun, they achieved on creating a haunting atmosphere that can perpetuate your agony.

All Gone Dead

Deathrock band very recent, formed in 2003 in London, UK. Fallen and Forgottem is their first release, showing some very rocking nice tunes such as "Vivid Still Beating" or the ever famous (and somewhat sickening) "Newspeak (Room 101)" that became a hit. Overall, it´s a nice record, an instant classic that shows what the new breed of deathrock bands can do.
