Clair Obscur

No, not the band... Those are for later.
I found two short films with the name Clair Obscur that I think are very, very interesting and artistic.


My favourite, Clair Obscur, written and directed by Alexandre Thévenin, is french and is from 2007, it´s about a man who turned mad after the death of his lover and has strange conversations about suicide with his shadow and/or imaginary friend.


Writen and directed by Raphael Mathieu, from Belgium and also from 2007, here´s Clair/Obscur which deals with the same topic: madness and suicide but from another angle, exploring two men playing russian roulette.

Both of these short films are very good, in my opinion, so I´m sharing them here. Hope you enjoy.
